About Kids Count

KIDS COUNT is a project of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in the United States. One of the principal activities of the KIDS COUNT program is publishing the annual KIDS COUNT Data Book: State Profiles of Child Well-Being, which reports data including 10 leading indicators of child well-being in every state.
