| Data |
Montana KIDS COUNT tracks and analyzes data regarding Montana's children and families both at the state and county level. Measures in the KIDS COUNT database provide regional comparisons on different aspects of the well-being of families and children. It is the intent of Montana KIDS COUNT to maintain and refine these measures for kids and families in order to track progress and problems in kids health, education, and overall well-being. |
| Research |
Montana KIDS COUNT staff have years of professional research experience in economics, statistics, quantitative and qualitative research methods, public relations, and marketing. These skills allow Montana KIDS COUNT to provide expert analysis and services to present not just the data, but the "story" that underlies the number in a clear and precise manner. |
| Publications and Materials |
Each year Montana KIDS COUNT prints and distributes the annual KIDS COUNT Data Book. This comprehensive report has become a leading source of information on the state of Montana's children. The book includes county profiles with 33 indicators tracked at the county level as well as detailed state data. In addition to the data, each year includes an in-depth analysis section focusing on topics such as substance abuse, prenatal care, children's health insurance coverage, and more. |
